We are thrilled to have Brad Turner & Jemma Vincent join the Est Magazine fold this week. The dynamic duo have recently returned from a European sojourn and will share the trends they’ve spotted, the products to lust after and other inspiring stories from their travels.
Here’s a little list of our favorites from the 2013 Maison & Objet furniture fair in Paris.
At Maison & Objet in 2013 colour was a big stand out trend, matched with beautiful natural timbers, marble and a lot of copper. The bigger brands like Normann Copenhagen, & Traditon and Muuto had amazing stands to showcase their product ranges in new season colours.
Muuto’s wall hooks were in new emerald greens and coral pinks. Normann candle sticks in a fresh new array of blues and green and Tradition’s stunning timber lounges with neutral coloured upholstery sat in front of bright orange backdrops and intense yellow pendants.
Other companies like DHS concentrated on launching some of their popular products in new season colours like the Pleece throws and Bjork carpets in rust, blue and green.
We’ve included a selection of our favourite products below.
