If like us you love the IDEA of camping in the great outdoors – but you just can’t quite come to terms with the harsh reality of having to give up your creative comforts in return for sleeping on the floor of a tent in your bid to reconnect with nature, then we think you may love Homecamp just as much as we do.

We got to try for ourselves just how luxurious staying overnight in a Homecamp tent can be when our one of our most loyal and most dearest Est readers and supporters Prue Brown held her 40th birthday, combined with husband Nick’s 45th, in country Victoria late last year (you may remember Prue’s beautiful Hawthorn home from the very first issue of Est here).

We staggered to bed (some of us may or may not have been carried) after a night of dancing like wild indians into a twin tent with two double beds and felt like we had absolutely died and gone to heaven – with the faint hum of Jubel in the background. It was seriously the most amazing party on earth – and Homecamp provided seriously the most amazing accommodation. If this is camping then we are hooked!
